It is a Fact.

I have this gadget on my blog that gives me random facts about the world. One of the facts that I read, I found very interesting. And I had to put it up. Here it goes:
"The largest cell in the human body is the female ovum, or egg cell. It is about 1/180 inch in diameter. The smallest cell in the human body is the male sperm. It takes about 175,000 sperm cells to weigh as much as a single egg cell. Hence, even in the beginning, women have more substance than men."

Trrrrriiiiiiinnnngggg-Trrrrriiiiiiinnnngggg

In the first few days of a new relationship… everything seems so happy and bright. Filmy as it sounds, but the skies do get bluer, and the roses get redder too. Your cheeks are always a colour pinker, and your eyes always have that wonderful sparkle (even with the spectacles on). Not to forget, the wonderfully glowing and flawless skin that women die for.
And after the always-welcome-changes, you manage to figure out some very peculiar qualities about your Newfoundland. There are the food habits, sleeping and waking patterns, dressing patterns, mood patterns, which one always figures out. But there are also some peculiarities that are there only in him.
My Newfoundland, as many may not know – is an alarm clock.
Substituting the morning alarm, he always call me just before I am about to wake up. The call not only manages to wake me up smiling, but also manages to get me out of bed before 11 o clock. (That makes my frantic mother really happy.) In case, I cut the call to delay the process of waking up, like a snooze he will call every two minutes to make sure I have awoken. :)
When I am going get late reaching home at night, he calls at the time I should be leaving the party to reach home safely. This alarm-call not only saves me from the atrocities of the city, but also from my dear daddy’s anger. Again, to make sure I have left, he calls every five minutes just like the very-useful snooze.
Other alarm-clock tendencies include calling every one hour, (to know what I am doing) – giving me a time check. This can be a little irritating when I am out with friends, but it is extremely helpful when my life is in a phase of preparing for unnecessary exams. It helps me to get back to the five-minute-quickie-studying-time from taking hour-long breaks.
I am known to be at least 45 minutes late to wherever I go. Hence, it is very accommodating, to have a man-cum-alarm clock with me. In fact, today I even reached college on time. Really, ask Ankit Mhatre.
As a very experienced friend said to me, “Wait till a few days, it will all fizzle out…” I wondered whether it really will. It seems impossible, really. ‘Cause once an alarm clock, always an alarm clock.

Filmy Fantasies...

Every girl in her life has a perfect romantic fantasy. And they look everywhere to find it. There are some, who want their prince charming to come riding on a horse from those luscious green meadows to their perfectly built house and just sweep them off the floor and take them to never land.
There are others girls, who want to run away from their structured homes and their similarly structured lives with their prince. And there are others, who loved those rugged and crude men, to enter their so-believed-boring lives and make their lives wild again.
My friends believe that I am the ‘aww-types’ – the ‘aww-types’ being those dreamy girly girls who find anything cute and anything romantic. I confess, have my own romantic fantasies, picked up directly from the movies I’ve watched. And as a result of my appetite for watching movies, I have not one but many romantic fantasies.
At the risk of being laughed at, I am mentioning here, some of the romantic fantasies I am attached to the most. I have to begin with the adoring hug between Aditya and Geet in Jab We Met after Aditya motivates Geet to abuse Anshuman to remove all her frustration.
The kiss between them at the end of Jab We Met is another fantasy I am extremely attached to. Omkara is one of my favorite films and it has one of my favorite fantasies as well. After Dolly and Omi have slept with each other, Dolly is just lying down next to Omi while he blissfully sleeps. I would want to be that content in my relationship with my special some one. The most innocent and pure romantic fantasy I have had, is between Rajiv and Payal in Ishq Vishk, when she sits and shows him her personal diary, filled with his pictures.
The most recent one is the scene between Latika and Jamal in Slumdog Millionaire, where Latika tells Jamal ‘Kiss Me!’. The kiss was pretty ordinary, but the entire emotion that is captured very well in that scene was beautiful.
Including all of these, my boyfriend must be able to satisfy all my romantic filmy fantasies in order for me to be his completely. And I am more than happy to say I have found a man who can be these fantasies and more.
Until I said a yes to him, I believed that I would never find only one man to give me these perfect romantic moments. I would have to gather these from different men. But he has proved me wrong, and made me feel happy about it too. J. I would love to add, that every filmy fantasy I have would’ve been incomplete without the wonderful qualities that are there in him.
The amount I have smiled and laughed in these past few days I have not done since a very long time. And I owe this happiness to him.
And so, I have just one thing to say – I’ve been a fool to keep him waiting for as long as I did.

I just saw that the last time I had put up a blog entry was in October 2008. So I want to thank Henna, from my college to motivate me to write a blog. I wish I can fully enjoy the experience. I am writing about a person today who I do not know for a very long time. But he has affected my life in a very beautiful way. So I want to thank him as well, for being an extremely significant part of my life.
