I see the green fields calling me,
I see the green grass swaying.
They tempt me, they awaken me,
I feel papa’s hold tightening.
I want to let go, I want to run.
The wetness of the soil under –
I want to feel the blazing sun,
The tickle of the grass
When I run.
I broke all bonds.
I ran at the speed of light,
I ran to my heart’s desire.
Only to find
A boulder block.
In the middle of my way.
A sudden corridor
I didn’t know my way.
Hope was alive,
So I walked across.
I felt the my nose numbing
I felt the my feet blue
Hope was dwindling,
I wanted to go back.
It was all a mirage,
There existed no field.
Daddy knew it –
But to learn my lesson,
He left me.
