Daddy

DADDY
I was Daddy’s little girl, but now “I’m a little thief,
I started at zero and I will end at zero,”
Is what you said Daddy. You are my hero
Daddy it was just your little girl’s mischief

We used to go for leisure walks – Daddy & I,
He taught me to love & care – why daddy why
Why did Daddy then stop walking with me?
I still love you Daddy – isn’t that evident to see?

He never gave me gifts – but he loved his girl
But that one thing he said, it upturned my world.
The thing, Daddy, you said, left an irreparable crack
I just wish Daddy, I could have you back.
