I am sitting at my window in my kitchen. A random mosquito is buzzing around my ear. On either of me I see the walls of my building. And far, beyond the building walls, I see the lane to my building. One would miss it if one did not know where it was because of the thicket of trees in my building compound and also the trees of the opposite building. The trees have grown a lot. The branches of the trees of the opposite building are growing into my building. Under those branches, I see two cars – a red car and a silver car.
The silver car is a little inclined towards the red car. Both the cars are looking at the wall dividing my building and the opposite building. There is as garden right beyond that wall. I can see the shadow of my hand being projected on the building wall. It is much bigger than the actual size of my hand.
I can see all the flats of the opposite building. All the lights are shut, except for one of the flats. It is orange in colour. A man shut the light. It is black now. The building is surrounded by trees.
I see the watchman of my building walking on the uneven ground. It is various shades of gray.
Far away, beyond the trees and the lane of my building I see two yellow lamp posts. I see the bus stop and I see tiny vehicles going and coming endlessly. There is a lone human waiting for a bus. No bus comes. He is still waiting.
